Arriving to the guesthouse would have been very difficult without a car (we had not intended to rent a car at the time of booking, so that was a stroke of luck), but the accommodations were well worth the trouble. Our apartment was sweet and comfortable, with no detail overlooked. We loved sitting out on our little patio, sipping coffee and munching on the simple but generous pastries and yogurts provided by the staff. Giuseppe, the owner, was warm, helpful, and just delightful. He gave us some fabulous recommendations of off-the-beaten-path places to see in the area, and did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable. He even printed out a little note in honor of the birthday of one of my companions, which we felt was a very thoughtful and sweet gesture. Also worthy of note: our apartment was fully wheelchair accessible (not just the entrance...also the bathroom, etc). We personally didn't need it, but I'm willing to bet that that can be hard to find in charming, Tuscan converted farmhouses, so +10 points for that.

The residence is nice place just outside of Siena, not long way to the city center by car. The appartment was on two levels with living room on first floor and bedroom on upper level. Good place to stay for several days, it was pity that we stay only one night, though the price was higher than other locations

Very clean and the owner will do everything to meet your needs... the space was nice... very quaint and 5 minute drive to Siena. I would go back for sure and stay there again. Do no hesitate to book this place.
Extra fee for using air conditionning, in-room laundry and internet... was not expecting fee for the first two, but was not so much. Also, there is no pool... I thought there was as it was listed under activities.... looking closely it may mean there is a pool nearby.

The Residenza was in a beautiful scenic location, conveniently located close to Siena. It was a beautiful, immaculate cottage furnished in a country style with a full kitchen. I would recommend it most highly.

Far away from Siena downtown and hard to find if you don´t have a gps. Be aware of what is written in the reservation. The reservation informs that "breakfast is included" but has a different meaning: you must make your own breakfast. The owner leaves milk, juice, butter, coffee and some wraped breads in a basket and you make your brekfast and clean the dishes. There is no kettle, dish washing machine, or bath robe in the room. The washing machine is outside in an area of the hotel.

The way my wife described it best puts it..."its the sort of place that you think your Mum would run with her love". It was lovely to be short. The room was so homely, with food in the fridge, a bottle of their own red wine provided (which was really tasty). Plus they offered up some home pressed olive oil which was very aromatic and far better than any of the stuff we buy in uk supermarkets. In the afternoon we used the hot-tub which looks out toward Siena over the tuscany fields. So much effort had gone in to make this place a special place to stay and I am so pleased I spent a little extra. Book this place and you won't be at all disappointed.

The rooms, very well furnished and clean, spacious and the staff cordiality. Specially from Mr. Giuseppe, that always left in our room a wine produced by himself, and a great olive oil. Great place to stay to visit the settlements around, as Siena, Monterrigione, Firenze. Parking just beside the room.
only cable internet, no wireless.

I would love to stay longer, this place had everything we were looking for, with two kids, it couldn't have worked out better
If you don't have a car, might be a little inconvenient to get to town

Very friendly and helpful owner. Nice jacuzzi (no pool) with hills view.
Ask for the rooms in front of the jacuzzi, they are newer.

It was wonderful. Great views and terrific food nearby. Quiet and rural yet very near Siena. Giuseppe, the owner/host was terrific. When we couldn't find a restaurant we were looking for, he drove us there (and it was well worth it!). Very nice rooms, wonderfully furnished and equipped with food (included in the price). Very reasonable for what we got @ 120 eu.
